My New Year’s Eve was spent with my wonderful family. For the first time in many years. A quiet one overall, intermingled with spurts of the crazy – isn’t that a must on NYE?

As midnight approached the kids, despite being tired, danced and frolicked while the adults mainly observed.  When the children began to wane the adults stepped up to the plate and begun their own dances while the kids looked on and laughed!  Apparently dance moves can be generational!

When the clock tolled 12am poppers exploded and sparklers were lit.  Above I captured my beautiful daughter and her sparkler swirl – one of many but this was my favourite.

May there be a lot of sparkle in everyone’s year this year.

Welcome to 2012!
